Windsurfing: Levington Marina Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5 Surf / Sea State: Flat/Chop Air Temperature: Okay Sea Temperature: Fine Weather: Grey and cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Arrived just as others were packing up after a good session, and for a
couple of minutes it looked like the wind was dropping. Not what was
forecast, so I rigged a 5.4m anyway and sure enough the wind came back.
Totally the wrong kit for flat water, but it's all I brought with me this
week, expecting the strong winds.
Had a blast back-and-forth for a while, and jumped some chop, but not
really much fun on an Evo!
Wind was very up and down, but fine on average. Just enough in the lulls if
you bore away, and not quite overpowered in the largest gusts. Didn't stay
long on my own as no-one else turned up.
A bit boring to be honest, but it's all good practice. I'm just jealous
reading the South-Coast reports :(
